Jack Roush wows the crowd at Oshkosh!

Jack Roush, Matt Kenseth, and Carl Edwards wage celebrity drag-match on Stage 3 Mustang ET simulator!

Roush Performance participated for the first time in the popular AirVenture show at OshKosh, Wis. This show, primarily for airplane enthusiasts, was a co-operative deal with Ford. Overall, more than 100,000 people attended the show and for many, it was their first exposure to Roush vehicles, crate motors, and parts.

The company rolled out their full booth set-up, displaying their full line of crate engine and high performance parts that are typically reserved for automotive events.

One of the more popular attractions in the Ford tent was the ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang which was strapped down to a chassis dyno and names were drawn for an opportunity to do a simulated drag race. This is similar to the set-up that Ford Racing has campaigned across the country this season that puts the enthusiasts on center stage.

During the week-long event, more than 100 lucky people got their first taste behind the wheel of the 415-horsepower Roush Stage 3 Mustang that is getting so many positive stories in the media. The sound of the supercharged engine fillled the tent all through the weekend, indoctrinating many of people

At the high point of the event, Jack Roush, Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth all got behind the wheel during their 90-minute autograph sessions. They competed on the ET simulator for the fastest times. In the end, when the results were tabulated, it was Kenseth with the fastest quarter mile run as he posted a 12.61-second pass at nearly 111 mph. Nobody was letting the boss win on this day.

Special thanks to Roush Performance for the photos and information!
